Established in 1960, Catawba Valley Community College is a two-year
comprehensive institution offering college transfer, vocational and technical degrees, and
diplomas / certificates / continuing education in more than 50 programs of study. The
Sports & Special Event Building, opened in late 1997, is a fully operational
basketball or volleyball venue. Its versatility, however, encourages use for theater-style
meetings, special events and trade shows. Catering services and concessions are available.
Call for information about additional campus facilities not mentioned below. CVCC invites
educational involvement and use of the variety of campus facilities by local and regional
groups, as well as visitors to the area.
